Microblading has gained immense popularity over the last few years for several reasons. For some, it’s been years since they got an eyebrow tattoo, and now their brows don’t match up anymore. Others may not be happy with the results of a tattoo removal treatment.
Microbladed eyebrows can be an excellent solution for people who want their eyebrow tattoo shape or color fixed but still look natural. It is also ideal for those with thinning brows and desiring natural-looking fullness back in their brows.
At Tiffany Nicole Beauty, we use the best pigments available when microblading eyebrows to ensure a natural look that will last longer. The truth is that microblading cannot cover all eyebrow tattoos, but we try our best to help you out. Read on to learn more.
Microblading Vs. Eyebrow Tattoo
The old-school way of achieving your dream eyebrows was eyebrow tattoos. Microblading is the new technique that mimics natural eyebrows with semi-permanent results.
Because eyebrow tattoos are typically implanted to a deeper layer of skin, the ink tends to expand and appear unnatural. With microblading, pigments are just below the surface of the epidermis, where expansion is less likely.
Microblading involves the use of small, hair-like strokes to apply pigments. These pigments resemble your natural eyebrows, making them ideal for a realistic appearance. Over time, microbladed eyebrows fade. But since they are touched up every few years, they can consistently look natural and fresh.
If you are unhappy with your aging eyebrow tattoos, microblading could be your best bet for an improved appearance. Whether it’s about the tattoo’s shape or color, microblading professionals at Tiffany Nicole Beauty can help.
Send Us A Picture Upfront
At Tiffany Nicole Beauty, we require our customers first to email us pictures of their eyebrow tattoos. Then, an experienced and skilled artist will evaluate your photos to see if we can help you.
We recommend taking the pictures in natural lighting (daylight) with no makeup to make the brows super visible. But, of course, you also want to ensure the photos are filter-free.
Types Of Eyebrows We Can And Can’t Fix
Our artist can microblade over old eyebrow tattoos only if they are light and the ink wasn’t deposited too deep in the skin. Trying to microblade over deep permanent makeup will likely produce a blocky and darker shadow which negates our objective to achieve a more natural appearance.
Microblading strokes can’t cover an eyebrow tattoo that is still too dark. It only adds more pigment to the existing color, making the eyebrows darker and bolder.
Note that we cannot fix eyebrow tattoo work that is not ours.
Our artist can also use the shading technique or combo to cover up your eyebrow tattoo. With shading, our artist fills the entire brow with light pigmentation to achieve a powdery background. Combo combines both microblading and shading.
What If Eyebrow Tattoo Cover-Up Isn’t An Option For You?
If we cannot cover up your eyebrow tattoo, you may consider getting a laser tattoo removal or saline tattoo removal. We highly recommend PicoWay laser tattoo removal. It involves using a PicoWay laser to produce light, breaking down the tattoo ink into tiny particles. This debris is then naturally removed by your body’s immune system.
